Founded in 1992 by acclaimed clarinettist Victoria Samek, Clarinet & Saxophone Classics celebrates the single reed in all its richness and diversity.
Started as a unique specialist label devoted to releasing top quality recordings by the finest artists of today on modern and period instruments, as well as sympathetically restored historical recordings of great figures from the past supported by informative notes. Clarinet & Saxophone Classics has expanded into publications representing foremost composers of today as well as younger generation composers. With a commitment to rare repertoire, Clarinet & Saxophone Classics Publications also promotes a series of sensitively transcribed gems from the Baroque and Romantic period.

Having created her own brand, Samek Music, Victoria is committed to excellence through recordings, publications and learning and coaching resources. Samek Music is dedicated to the clarinet and saxophone, giving a focus for the wonderful world of the single reed.
As performer and educator, Victoria Samek has developed a ground breaking process for the 21st century performer. Organise, Prioritise, Commit (OPC); The Training, Testing & Performing Process. Informed and inspired by her Masters in Performance Science, seven years on she will be publishing the OPC Handbook in 2024. Meanwhile she is delivering the OPC concepts in her teaching, mentoring and Lecture Recital Playing with Science which will inspire and engage audiences. OPC will have its own dedicated website to be launched November 2023.
