This recording honours the Internationally renowned and most brilliant and versatile composer and musician, Richard Rodney Bennett. Performed by clarinettist Victoria Samek, this programme of clarinet chamber works, reflects the rich and diverse styles that are such distinguishing qualities of Bennetts immense compositional output. From music reminiscent of his great film scores to the World Premiere of his Bass Clarinet Sonata performed by ‘a formidable duo’.
