As a respected voice in the performing world of music with a Masters in Performance Science from the Royal College of Music, Victoria Samek presents a series of bespoke lectures entitled ‘Playing with Science’.

Performance science, although established academically, is treated with suspicion by performing artists – often accused of extinguishing the flame of inspiration. Recognising the significance of performance science and its impact for the player in re-thinking traditional approaches to practice and performance she presents a ground-breaking unique and innovative approach to practice and performance.

Playing with Science combine theories and models from science with artistic imagination and creativity, punctuated by live performance. Taking musicians on a voyage of discovery and delivered with her ever-contagious energy.
